All mares must be swabbed can be done at home
and the clean certificate brought to stud or can be done by our vets at the stud. It is now a requirement that
all mares that have been recently imported within the last 12 months or are a high risk are EVA tested/vaccinated prior to
being mixed with other horses. Mares will be checked on arrival at stud before being turned out with others. It is preferable
that mares are vaccinated against flu and tetanus and recommend that they are insured.

Passports must accompany all mares. |

NFFR (NO FOAL FREE RETURN). If the mare is not in foal by October
1st, she will be eligible for a free return next season. The stud must be notified by October 1st. (LIVE FOAL TERMS).

Mares and foals whilst at the Stud
receive every possible care, attention and supervision. Veterinary assistance is called in when deemed necessary and is chargeable
to the owner. All mares are served at their owner's risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury, damage or loss
caused through trying to or inseminating any mare. |

The Stud reserves the right to refuse
any Mare they consider dangerous to themselves or others. |

Any Mares, especially those with foals at foot,
which the stud considers need stabling due to adverse weather conditions though normally at grass, will be stabled and the
owner charged accordingly. |

Blacksmith
- Shoes All mares will be trimmed regularly as necessary and the Farriers charge will be invoiced to the owners
on collection of the Mare. Any mare with brittle feet may be left shod in front if necessary. |
Visiting mares are welcome from the 1st March each year, but
will be accepted on full livery with restricted turnout or loose schooled until suitable weather conditions allow full turnout.
Grass livery available from the 1st May onwards but depending on the ground conditions this date may be altered slightly.
Costs of Dispatched Semen
- Up to three doses of semen will be supplied to achieve pregnancy in one season.
- The costs for dispatched chilled semen are £80 per cycle to include the collection, semen preparation,
packaging and postage.
- The Nomination form for dispatched semen is to be completed and
sent to the stud along with the stud fee and £160 deposit to cover 2 collections prior to any semen being dispatched.
If a third dose is required then a further £80 must be sent before the semen is dispatched.
- Any
unused money will be credited after the mare is confirmed in foal at Oct 1st along with the covering certificate.
- Semen will be sent via The Royal Mail Special delivery service guaranteed by 9 am Tuesday to Friday. Deliveries
on Saturday are not guaranteed.
- Fresh or chilled semen can also be collected/ delivered
and inseminated by arrangement.
- Semen will only be sent to a recognised BEVA AI approved
vet/person or AI centre to ensure that the correct procedures for AI are being followed and therefore ensuring the best possible
chance of the mare getting in foal as quickly as possible.

Feed – Hard feed of Baileys mix and conditioning cubes is
included in the full livery rates. Mares and foals at grass that require hard feed will be charged extra. Worming
– Mares and foals will be wormed when appropriate and charged accordingly. Payment Terms – All stud fees to
be paid on arrival of mare. These Livery prices are for horses & are a guide as any other special requirements can
be catered for. There is no VAT on stud or livery fees.
